Dairy Belles

The girls made butter from heavy cream this week.  The process consisted of filling a glass jar half full of cream, then shaking shaking shaking!

They ate most of the butter on their baked potatoes for lunch, but saved a little for Dad to eat later (it was very good).

  1. I remember making butter in kindergarten. Up until that day, I thought margarine was the real stuff and butter was fake. I was very confused as to why we were making such a big deal over butter until someone kindly explained to me that I had it backwards.

That's a good time killer! Looks like they had fun : )
