One down...nine to go?


Whether I make nine more is yet to be determined, but I'd like to give these as Christmas gifts for a few people this year, and I'm encouraged by the first one. And by encouraged, I mean "Could I just eat this one and give the next one away?"

    Wow! Chocolate ganache? Heath-Crunch cake? 7-UP cake? It looks delicious.

    What? You made this wonderful looking concoction (probably for the 1st time, and maybe don't even know what it tastes like) and you might make 9 more to give away? For certain, you need to eat this one before producing 9 more potential failures! Good grief, Janell, sounds like something your Mother would do! All I've got to say is don't print up multiple copies of the recipe for those who would request it of you!

    Mom - I'm going to plead the 5th regarding how many times I made this cake prior to giving it away.

    Ben - please tell me what a 7-up cake is. This is no 7-up cake, but it IS a sour cream cinnamon streusel coffee cake. And if all goes as planned, one of them will be accompanying us to Michigan. Ozzie will be keeper of the cake, and only those who give him adequate amounts of adoration and love will be given a piece.
